Look no further if you're looking for a meaningful volunteer experience in one of the most exciting and captivating countries in the Latin Americas! Volunteer in Mexico, and soak in the Hispanic culture, the exotic food and the alluring cities and landscapes while contributing to society.

With 26 world heritage sites, over 800 miles of coastal areas, and rich Hispanic culture, Mexico has much to offer. The colonial towns and cities are countries in themselves and the landscape of vast deserts, high plateaus and volcanoes are breathtaking natural attractions. As if that is not enough, the fantastic Mexican cuisine is bound to add spice to your life. Although Mexico is home to some of the most beautiful cities and natural panorama in the Americas, an overwhelming amount of its population are impoverished, with over 10% living in extreme poverty. Volunteer in Mexico through New Hope's programs, and experience Mexico on a more meaningful and intimate level. You will be able to immerse in the local culture and truly appreciate the Mexican way of life through a warm and welcoming stay with a host family and by volunteering in local grassroots projects that help underprivileged communities. Send us an email today and experience a new part of the world in a positive way.

New Hope Volunteer programs begin each Monday of the month. If needed, we can arrange for your program to start at any day.

In recent years, volunteering has become more of a business than charity. Many organizations in the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand run volunteering programs solely for profit. But this is not the case with New Hope Volunteers. Our aim is to offer World's Most Affordable volunteer program (without compromising the quality) so that all volunteers, irrespective of their income level, can volunteer to serve humanity and enrich their life. In our program, except our registration fee of $279,which we need to advertise, cover office expense and pay salary, volunteers pay their money directly to the host family and project (or country coordinator). This ensures that 100% of your money goes for you.

In addition to our registration fee of $279, here you find the world's most affordable weekly program fee.

The volunteering programs in Mexico fees will cover expenses that will begin on the first day of the program (usually the first or third Monday of the month) to the last day of the program. If you arrive before the first day of the program or you decide you stay beyond your program’s last day, you will be responsible for the additional expenses, which would typically be around $30 a day for room and meals at a hostel.

New Hope Volunteers will arrange for the accommodation and meals throughout the volunteering duration in the Mexico program. Volunteers will stay with either a host family, or in tented camps at the Sea Turtle Conservation project. Our host families have all been carefully screened before being selected to participate in New Hope's volunteer programs. Our host families also have significant experience in accommodating international volunteers. Host families offer a warm, comfortable and safe home, where you will receive three local meals per day.

New Hope also offers extensive support for you so that you feel right at home while volunteering. The main person supporting you throughout your program will be our country coordinator in Mexico, who is also in-charge of your volunteer program. Whenever possible, the coordinator will call or visit you to see if you are happy and satisfied with your project. You will also have the coordinator's mobile phone number that you may call any time should an issue arise. Our project staff will also guide and help you throughout the program. You will meet the project staff daily during your volunteer work in Mexico.
