5 Days Annapurna Trekking: US$ 375 Per Person

Day 01: Your trekking guide will meet you at your Hotel in Pokhara or receive you at the Airport. You will then be driven for one and half hour Pokhara to Nayapul (Nayapul is a small trading town situated at the bank of Modi River). After reaching there, you’ll get off the bus and straight away start to trek. You’ll walk for about an hour to Bhurjung Khola, which passes via Birethanti, a large village with many local inns and tea houses. Lunch will be served here. After lunch, you come across a steep climb on a stone paved path. You’ll climb for almost a good hour. After the completion of the climb, the trail eases all the way to Tirkhedhunga. Overnight stay in a lodge in Tirkhedhunga.

Day 02: After early breakfast, you’re trail descends and after crossing the Bhurundi Stream, you’ll take part in a steep climbing until Ulleri. It takes about 3 hours to reach Ulleri from Tirkhedhunga. From here, you can witness the scenic views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchare - the Fishtail Mountain. Lunch will be served at Naya Thanti. After lunch, the trail climbs steadily through dense rhododendron forest for four hours to till Ghorepani. Overnight stay in lodge at Ghorepani.

Day 03: The third day will start with an early morning excursion to Poon Hill at (10530-ft). Poon Hill is the spot to view the majestic panorama of the Himalayas. A close-up view of Dhalaugiri and the Annapurna Massif, including Machhapuchare, can be seen from Poon Hill. The hike to Poon Hill takes approximately one and half-hours.
After breakfast, the trail from Ghorepani to Tadapani goes through thick pine and rhododendron forest with occasional ascends and descends, but it’s a relatively flat walk you’ll walk on the ridge.
Stop for lunch at Tadapani, at 8900-ft. After lunch, the major part of the trail goes downhill through scattered villages of Gurung settlement in Ghandrung. The view of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli will always accompany you. Overnight stay in lodge at Ghandrung.

Day 04: Today the trail descends to Modi Khola and crosses the Modi River, on a suspension bridge. You’ll then ascend to Landrung village. Annapurna and Machhapuchhre are clearly visible from the trail. You’ll pass through scattered trees and bushes and start to ascend steeply for about an hour. The steady climb to Deurali will takes approximately two hours. From Deurali, you’ll be present with another spectacular view of Annapurna south and Dhaulagiri Mountain, which is the highest mountain in the westerner Nepal. The trail from Deurali then descends gradually all the way to Dhampus for overnight stay at lodge. Lunch will be taken en-route.

Day 05: After breakfast, it is an easy walk along the ridge passing through scattered villages and paddy fields for about one hour. The trail descends steeply for an hour to Phedi (Pokhara-Baglung Highway). From here, you can drive 30 min straight to the hotel at Pokhara for overnight or airport to connect the flight back to Kathmandu.
