In Uganda, most of the hospitals and clinics are based in cities and is expensive and unaffordable for extremely poor. In rural areas, the healthcare facilities are either inadequately staffed or simple too far off, forcing people to travel far and wide. Due to these reason, people are still dying of treatable disease. There are campaigns to stop this from happening. Our volunteers will work with local doctors and nurses to treat poor patients.
