The orphans in Cambodia only have orphanages to turn for help, as government facilities are non-existence and people are generally too deprived to care for children. These orphans need love and attention which they have been denied because of unwanted circumstances. New Hope Volunteers, in collaboration with various local NGO’s, aspires to provide a home for these children where they will be loved, cared and allowed to pursue a normal childhood.
What difference does this project make?
This project is committed to providing orphans a safe home and an environment where they can prosper. As children are the future bearers of any nation, helping Cambodian orphaned children will help Cambodia towards a better future. With this project, we aim to secure a safe future for orphans by offering them a stable home and suitable environment for education and personal growth.

Working with orphans will give you an insight into the condition of orphaned children so as to motive you even more for volunteering. Project location
Phnom Penh is the capital city of Cambodia that is chaotic but somehow it still manages to be charismatic! It is a crossroads of Asia’s past and present, a city of extremes in poverty and chaos, but one that never fails to captivate. It is also known as the ‘Pearl of Asia’.
Battambang is the second largest town of Cambodia and a popular tourist destination due to the many nearby ancient temples, Buddhist shrines and the infamous bamboo railway. This city is known for its statues which seemingly decorate every public place. Most are of animals (mythical and real) and divinities.
Siem Reap has reinvented itself as the epicenter of new Cambodia. Tourists overflow this city for its beautiful temples, old French shop/houses, shady tree-lined boulevards and a slow flowing river.
Pursat is well known for its marble carvers and oranges. Tourists find bamboo train excursion around the city very refreshing. Also, visit the waterfalls and go on a day’s trip to the floating village of Kompong Luong!
